Shae McDonnell

Designated Paralegal

Shae was born and raised in Kamloops, B.C., and moved to Penticton in September 2018 to attend Okanagan College, where she earned her Criminal and Social Justice Diploma. Her studies provided a strong foundation in her understanding of the criminal justice system and reinforced her passion for helping others navigate legal challenges.

In 2021, Shae joined Bridge Law as a Legal Assistant to Michael Patterson. Through her commitment to the legal profession, she has since advanced to the role of Designated Paralegal.

While working full-time as a Designated Paralegal, Shae has been pursuing her Bachelor of Laws online through the University of Law in the United Kingdom. In September 2026, she will travel to the U.K. to complete her final year of studies in person while continuing to work remotely as a Designated Paralegal with Bridge Law. Shae is particularly passionate about criminal law and civil litigation and looks forward to continuing to expand her knowledge in both areas as she advances her legal career.

Outside of the office, Shae enjoys spending quality time with her fiancé and their dog, Tony, either at the baseball field or exploring all that the beautiful Okanagan has to offer.
